Medication review & refills

Starting a medication, reviewing side effects and continuing a stable prescription each need a clinical assessment. Explore the relevant visit and choose your clinician.

  • Antidepressant medication review & refills

Starting treatment and continuing a stable prescription are different visits. For anxiety or depression, a clinician can review your symptoms, prior medication response and current prescription, then discuss whether a non-controlled option fits. Bring the exact drug, dose and how long you have taken it so the clinician can continue your care without interruption.

  • Non-stimulant ADHD medication consultation

Trouble concentrating can reflect ADHD, anxiety, depression or a sleep problem. An adult ADHD visit reviews the pattern and your history before discussing non-stimulant medication. If you already take atomoxetine, viloxazine, bupropion or guanfacine, a medication review can address benefit, side effects and continuity of care.

  • Non-controlled sleep medication review

A sleep visit looks beyond a sleeping pill. The clinician reviews your sleep schedule, snoring, anxiety and other medications before considering non-controlled options. If you already take trazodone or doxepin, bring the dose and what happens on nights you use it. Medication review can be paired with a practical sleep plan rather than automatically increasing a dose.

  • Asthma inhaler review & refills

Running low on an inhaler is a reason to review both access and asthma control. A clinician can assess rescue-inhaler use, night symptoms and recent flare-ups, then consider a refill or changes to your action plan. Albuterol and controller inhalers serve different roles; bring the actual inhaler names instead of relying on their color.

  • Levothyroxine review & thyroid refills

Thyroid symptoms and laboratory results need to be reviewed together. If you take levothyroxine, a clinician can assess your current dose, how you take it and your recent thyroid tests before deciding on continuation or adjustment. Fatigue or weight change alone does not establish that your thyroid dose needs changing.

  • Finasteride & minoxidil consultation

Hair loss does not have one treatment. A clinician reviews whether the pattern fits inherited thinning, shedding or another cause before discussing finasteride, minoxidil or other appropriate options. Photos and a timeline help distinguish gradual changes from sudden hair loss. Existing prescriptions can be reviewed and continued through the same visit.

  • Sildenafil & tadalafil medication review

An erectile-dysfunction visit should review health risks as well as symptoms. A clinician can discuss sildenafil or tadalafil after reviewing your medications, heart history and the pattern of symptoms. A medication request starts the evaluation — the clinician reviews your history and recommends the option that fits.

  • Birth control prescription & refill consultation

Continuing birth control and choosing a new method both require a safety review. A clinician can discuss pills, the patch or the ring using your medical history and preferences. Bring your current product if you need a refill, and mention missed doses, bleeding changes and whether pregnancy is possible.

  • Migraine prescription review & prevention

Migraine treatment can address an attack or reduce future attacks. A clinician reviews headache frequency, symptoms and your current medicines before discussing rescue or preventive treatment. Sumatriptan, rizatriptan and gepants are different options, not interchangeable instructions. Bring what has helped and what has caused side effects.

  • Naltrexone consultation for alcohol use

An alcohol-use visit can discuss goals, drinking patterns and whether naltrexone is appropriate. The clinician reviews medical history, liver testing and any opioid use before considering medication. You can seek help without having a diagnosis already, and your goals can include reducing drinking as well as stopping.
