Kratom withdrawal symptoms

Also called: quit kratom, kratom detox, coming off kratom, kratom addiction, 7-oh withdrawal, 7-hydroxymitragynine withdrawal, mitragynine withdrawal, kratom taper, kratom shots, kratom extract dependence, how to stop kratom

Kratom withdrawal looks like a mild-to-moderate opioid withdrawal — because kratom's active alkaloids (mitragynine and especially 7-hydroxymitragynine) hit the mu-opioid receptor. Symptoms usually start 12–24 hours after your last dose, peak at 2–4 days, and fade by day 7–10, with mood and sleep taking 2–4 weeks. Expect runny nose, sweating, chills, goosebumps, restless legs, muscle aches, stomach cramps, diarrhea, nausea, insomnia, anxiety, irritability, and intense cravings. Daily users, high-dose users, and anyone on modern 7-OH extracts, tinctures, or gas-station shots withdraw harder. Clindle evaluates online, builds a taper, and prescribes non-controlled comfort medications (clonidine, hydroxyzine, ondansetron, loperamide). For severe cases we coordinate buprenorphine with an in-network waivered clinician. We do not treat controlled-substance withdrawal directly.
