Insomnia treatment with UnitedHealthcare Student Resources

Clindle clinicians are in-network with UnitedHealthcare Student Resources and clinicians treat insomnia over a same-day video visit. Most UHC Student Resources members pay only their standard office-visit copay.

About Insomnia

Insomnia — trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, or early waking at least 3 nights a week for 3 months with daytime impact — is best treated long-term with cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I). Clindle screens for drivers (anxiety, depression, restless legs, sleep apnea, thyroid, late-day caffeine), prescribes non-controlled medication options (trazodone, doxepin, hydroxyzine, ramelteon, melatonin), and refers for CBT-I and sleep studies. We do not prescribe Ambien, Lunesta, or benzodiazepines over telehealth.

UHC Student Resources coverage at Clindle

Clindle accepts UnitedHealthcare Student Resources, the student health plans offered through many colleges and universities. Students can book video visits for everyday concerns, mental health and prescription needs without leaving campus. We verify your student plan benefits before the visit.

We verify your specific UHC Student Resources plan before the visit and tell you the expected out-of-pocket cost up front. If your plan doesn't cover telehealth, you can use the flat $50 self-pay rate instead.
