Hypothyroidism treatment with UnitedHealthcare Student Resources

Clindle clinicians are in-network with UnitedHealthcare Student Resources and clinicians treat hypothyroidism over a same-day video visit. Most UHC Student Resources members pay only their standard office-visit copay.

About Hypothyroidism

Hypothyroidism — most commonly autoimmune (Hashimoto's) — slows metabolism, causing fatigue, weight gain, cold intolerance, constipation, dry skin, hair shedding, and low mood. Diagnosis is a TSH plus free T4. Clindle treats with levothyroxine dosed by weight, rechecks TSH every 6–8 weeks until normalized, and adjusts for absorption issues (calcium, iron, PPIs, food timing). Most patients feel better within 4–6 weeks of reaching the right dose. We do not routinely prescribe T3 or desiccated thyroid without endocrinology input.

UHC Student Resources coverage at Clindle

Clindle accepts UnitedHealthcare Student Resources, the student health plans offered through many colleges and universities. Students can book video visits for everyday concerns, mental health and prescription needs without leaving campus. We verify your student plan benefits before the visit.

We verify your specific UHC Student Resources plan before the visit and tell you the expected out-of-pocket cost up front. If your plan doesn't cover telehealth, you can use the flat $50 self-pay rate instead.
