GERD / Acid Reflux treatment with NALC Health Benefit Plan

Clindle clinicians are in-network with NALC Health Benefit Plan and clinicians treat gerd / acid reflux over a same-day video visit. Most NALC members pay only their standard office-visit copay.

About GERD / Acid Reflux

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) happens when stomach acid backs up into the esophagus, causing heartburn, regurgitation, chest pain, cough, hoarseness, or a sour taste — especially at night or after meals. Untreated GERD can lead to esophagitis, strictures, and Barrett's esophagus. Clindle treats GERD with lifestyle changes (weight, alcohol, late meals, head-of-bed elevation), H2 blockers like famotidine, and proton-pump inhibitors like omeprazole or pantoprazole, stepped down once symptoms are controlled. Alarm features — trouble swallowing, weight loss, vomiting blood, age >60 with new symptoms — earn a GI referral for endoscopy.

NALC coverage at Clindle

Clindle accepts the NALC Health Benefit Plan for letter carriers and their families. NALC members can book video visits with Clindle clinicians under their plan's benefits. We verify your NALC coverage before the appointment.

We verify your specific NALC plan before the visit and tell you the expected out-of-pocket cost up front. If your plan doesn't cover telehealth, you can use the flat $50 self-pay rate instead.
