HAP — Alliance Health and Life · Covered care
Clindle clinicians are in-network with HAP — Alliance Health and Life and clinicians treat urinary tract infection over a same-day video visit. Most HAP Alliance members pay only their standard office-visit copay.
A urinary tract infection (UTI) is a bacterial infection of the bladder, urethra, or kidneys. Classic symptoms are burning with urination, urgency, frequency, lower abdominal pressure, and cloudy or bloody urine. Most uncomplicated UTIs in women are diagnosed clinically and treated empirically with a 3- to 5-day antibiotic course like nitrofurantoin, fosfomycin, or trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole. Clindle treats uncomplicated UTIs over video the same day — often within hours — and orders a urine culture when symptoms are recurrent. Fever, back pain, or pregnancy raise red flags and may need in-person evaluation.
Clindle accepts HAP — Alliance Health and Life plans where telehealth is a covered benefit. Members can book video visits with Clindle clinicians under their plan's office-visit benefit. We verify your HAP coverage and quote your expected cost before you book.
We verify your specific HAP Alliance plan before the visit and tell you the expected out-of-pocket cost up front. If your plan doesn't cover telehealth, you can use the flat $50 self-pay rate instead.
