GERD / Acid Reflux treatment with HAP — Alliance Health and Life

Clindle clinicians are in-network with HAP — Alliance Health and Life and clinicians treat gerd / acid reflux over a same-day video visit. Most HAP Alliance members pay only their standard office-visit copay.

About GERD / Acid Reflux

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) happens when stomach acid backs up into the esophagus, causing heartburn, regurgitation, chest pain, cough, hoarseness, or a sour taste — especially at night or after meals. Untreated GERD can lead to esophagitis, strictures, and Barrett's esophagus. Clindle treats GERD with lifestyle changes (weight, alcohol, late meals, head-of-bed elevation), H2 blockers like famotidine, and proton-pump inhibitors like omeprazole or pantoprazole, stepped down once symptoms are controlled. Alarm features — trouble swallowing, weight loss, vomiting blood, age >60 with new symptoms — earn a GI referral for endoscopy.

HAP Alliance coverage at Clindle

Clindle accepts HAP — Alliance Health and Life plans where telehealth is a covered benefit. Members can book video visits with Clindle clinicians under their plan's office-visit benefit. We verify your HAP coverage and quote your expected cost before you book.

We verify your specific HAP Alliance plan before the visit and tell you the expected out-of-pocket cost up front. If your plan doesn't cover telehealth, you can use the flat $50 self-pay rate instead.
