Back Pain treatment with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield

Clindle clinicians are in-network with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and clinicians treat back pain over a same-day video visit. Most Anthem BCBS members pay only their standard office-visit copay.

About Back Pain

Most low back pain is mechanical — strained muscles, ligaments, or joints — and resolves within 4-6 weeks with activity modification, NSAIDs, heat, and targeted physical therapy. Red flags that require imaging or in-person evaluation include leg weakness, numbness in the groin, loss of bladder control, fever, IV drug use, cancer history, or trauma. Clindle evaluates back pain over video, prescribes non-controlled muscle relaxants (cyclobenzaprine, methocarbamol) and NSAIDs, orders X-rays or MRI when indicated, writes a PT referral, and coordinates with orthopedics or pain management when conservative care fails.

Anthem BCBS coverage at Clindle

Clindle is in-network with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield commercial plans, and Anthem members can use their telehealth benefit for video visits with Clindle clinicians. Most Anthem members pay a standard primary-care copay. We verify your specific Anthem plan and quote your expected cost before you book.

We verify your specific Anthem BCBS plan before the visit and tell you the expected out-of-pocket cost up front. If your plan doesn't cover telehealth, you can use the flat $50 self-pay rate instead.
