Urgent Care · Condition
Vaginal yeast infection (vulvovaginal candidiasis) causes thick white discharge, itching, burning, and irritation. Clindle evaluates symptoms over video and prescribes single-dose oral fluconazole (150 mg) for uncomplicated cases, or topical clotrimazole, miconazole, or terconazole when oral isn't appropriate. Recurrent yeast (4+ episodes per year) warrants a longer induction-maintenance fluconazole course and a workup for diabetes. If symptoms don't fit yeast — fishy odor, painful urination, fever — we test for BV, trich, or STIs instead.
