Chest pain
Also called: chest pressure, chest tightness
Chest pain has many causes — heartburn, muscle strain, anxiety, costochondritis, pneumonia, and (most importantly) heart attack. Crushing pressure, pain radiating to the jaw or left arm, sweating, shortness of breath, or pain with exertion is an emergency — call 911. Clindle evaluates non-emergency, persistent or recurrent chest pain over video, screens cardiac risk, orders ECG or stress test referrals, and treats reversible causes like GERD and costochondritis. We never replace ER care for active chest pain that could be cardiac.
