Baylor Scott & White Health Plan · Covered care
Clindle clinicians are in-network with Baylor Scott & White Health Plan and clinicians treat urinary tract infection over a same-day video visit. Most Baylor Scott & White members pay only their standard office-visit copay.
A urinary tract infection (UTI) is a bacterial infection of the bladder, urethra, or kidneys. Classic symptoms are burning with urination, urgency, frequency, lower abdominal pressure, and cloudy or bloody urine. Most uncomplicated UTIs in women are diagnosed clinically and treated empirically with a 3- to 5-day antibiotic course like nitrofurantoin, fosfomycin, or trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole. Clindle treats uncomplicated UTIs over video the same day — often within hours — and orders a urine culture when symptoms are recurrent. Fever, back pain, or pregnancy raise red flags and may need in-person evaluation.
Clindle accepts Baylor Scott & White Health Plan where telehealth is a covered benefit. Members can book video visits with Clindle clinicians under their plan's benefits. We verify your Baylor Scott & White coverage before the appointment.
We verify your specific Baylor Scott & White plan before the visit and tell you the expected out-of-pocket cost up front. If your plan doesn't cover telehealth, you can use the flat $50 self-pay rate instead.
